Dear Travellers,
!!Namaste and warm Greetings from Himalayan Country Nepal!!

My name is Sanjib Adhikari. As an independent trekking guide and tour operator in Nepal, I would like to introduce myself to you.
I was born and grown up in the rugged and remote district in the Central Himalayan region. I started my career in the adventure tourism at the very young age after completing my high school level studies, working for different trekking companies for seven years in different capacities sometimes as porter, assistant guide and now working as an Independent trekking guide. I have already obtained trekking guide license from the ministry of tourism, government of Nepal.... See More
I have guided many international groups especially from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia in Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Mustang, Dolpo, Kanchanjunga, Makalu, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Helambu regions in Nepal and Mt. Kailash, Lasha in tibet also Ladak and Sikkim in India and have thus gained diversified experience and extensive knowledge on geography, religion, culture, local flora and fauna and on environmental issues in the areas where I personally organized the treks. My first experience on many trekking routes has made me an expert on making unique trekking itineraries as per the tastes, interests and budget of the western clients. For those international trekkers who want to climb high mountain passes and peaks, I can also organize this challenging and rewarding adventure. My experience in adventure tourism includes climbing to Mera peak, Island peak, Kalapathar, Gokyo peak, Tseryo ri and I have led expeditions across many high passes in Nepal, Larkye pass, Ampulapcha Pass, Chola pass, Renjula pass, Tashilapcha pass, Ganjala pass, thorong pass, Tilicho pass, (Mesokantola pass).
There are many types of treks available in Nepal, ranging from relaxed easy trekking where you can experience Nepalese Culture and Village life staying overnight in local lodges (tea-houses) in popular regions, to remote and restricted areas trekking that are off the beaten track and seldom visited by foreigners. All treks offer spectacular scenery and a good experience about Nepalese culture. If anyone wants to have tailor made treks, I can meet their requirements.
From time to time I keep upgrading my skills and knowledge by taking refresher trainings on safety, sanitation, first–aid, emergency rescue, hygiene and cooking. I am fluent in English, Chinese and computer literate. I can explain all tourism related topics to the best of my knowledge.
My clients have been very pleased with my professional guiding services, and you may read some of their comments on my website. Please contact me at the email address listed below if you have any questions or would like to discuss a possible trek in Nepal! I will look forward to hearing from you!

We have had a fantastic two week trek to Everest base camp. Our Guide and porter. Sanjib and Pemba have been excellent and very attentive looking after us.Sanjib is a very good guide and taught us allot about Nepali culture. Pemba was a brilliant porter. We think he will make an excellent guide in future. The level of service from both Sanjib and Pemba was superb. They were available all the way to help us with anything we needed, and both were thoughtful about anything we might require, water, food showers, accommodation. Sanjibs knowledge of the area and the lodges meant that we were always happy with our accommodation. He took care to visit places which were comfortable and had home stay feel. Sanjib have the qualities to be excellent guide and porter and to give all his clients a wonderful trekking experience. We highly recommend him.

Recently we returned from a four-day trek with a friend in the Annapurna Himalayan range. Boasting spectacular scenery, rugged terrain and extremely welcoming locals, Ive never visited another place on earth like Annapurna.
Helping us get the most out of our trek was our friendly and knowledgeable guide Sanjib Adhikari, a specialist trekking guide and expedition organizer based in Thamel, the bustling heart of Kathmandu. He skillfully guided us across treacherous mountain passes, pointed out the rich variety of flora we passed and, in the evening after hiking, served our meals and played cards with us.
Knowing that there are quite a few other less capable and experienced guides than Sanjib, Id certainly recommend him to other trekkers. His website is www.nepalguideinfo.com

Sanjib Adikhari ist recomended 2011 by German trekkers Sabine and Frank from Berlin

Sanjib Adhikari 2 x 250The ultimate compliment for Sanjib came from fellow trekkers we met along the way who remarked how lucky we were to have a guide so personable, knowledgeable and dedicated to us and our experience. We could not have agreed with them more. We did a 21 day Annapurna circuit, Annapurna base camp trek and Langtang Valley trek and having never trekked this length before, we were both novices. It is without a doubt, that had our guide been anyone other than Sanjib, we would not have had nearly the rich, authentic and thoroughly enjoyable experience we did. When trekking
with Sanjib we enjoyed
honest, knowledgeable and sincere discussions regarding anything from Nepals history and current politics, local religions and culture history, to geography natural landscape and all Mountains Name
a sensitivity and sensibility to allow a good balance between conversation and respecting an individual or couple’s need for privacy over 9 years of trekking guide experience
a respect for an individual’s desired pace and physical condition
an intimate knowledge of the best accommodations, tea stops and places of interest along the way, according to our own individual budget
We would highly recommend any potential trekker in Nepal to enlist the services of Sanjib Adhikari. It is without a doubt that you will be richly rewarded if you do so Trek in Nepal his contact address is sanjib-adhikari@hotmail.com and his website www.nepalguideinfo.com

Silvana Pagani from Italy wrote in 2011 My friend Sanjib Adhikari, Nepalse Guide

Silvana Pagani from Italy wrote in 2011 about my experience in Nepal and recommends as guide, Sanjib Adhikari.
This year at the end of february i went in Nepal for 18 days for the second time and i did a small trekking in the Annapurna region, I went to visit Pokhara, Kathmandu, Bakthapur and Nagarkot and I saw the National Park of Chitwan and in this trip I had the pleasure to meet Sanjib Adhikari.
He is an independent trekking guide and tour operator in Nepal and he has already obtained trekking guide license from the ministry of tourism, government of Nepal.
In his work Sanjib is a person very responsible and serious, very helpful and attentive to his customers, he knows very well the mountain because he has many years of experience and is also an excellent guide for visiting the cities.
He is someone very competent in his work and always ready to find the best solution, if necessary and speaks English very well.During the trekking and the tours he will tell you many interesting things about culture, about life in the villages, mountains, history and traditions in Nepal.
The best thing is that Sanjib loves his country very much and loves his work and always manages to convey all his enthusiasm with simple ways and always with the smile. He is a very nice person and is always attentive to the needs of his customers. Sanjib is also very funny and after this experience we became a very good friend. Next year at the end of January I will return for the third time in Nepal and Sanjib will be again my guide.
For these reasons I am very glad to report all references of Sanjib he cantact www.nepalguideinfo.com email-sanjib-adhikari@hotmail.com

Lukla Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most interesting, popular and beautiful treks in the world. The trek is possible all around the year and anybody in good healthshape with a flair of bit of adventure can do this trek. While taking this trek you come across some of the most beautiful snow clad peaks and sights for your camera. There are very few places in this world where you can merely walk upto an altitude of 18,000 ft.and one of them is the Everest base camp.

Once you are just below Namche Bazaar, you can have a first glance of Everest. A clear weather at Kalapatthar top is a dreamplace of the entire route. Mallorys lake at Gorakshep is also an interesting view point. Try to circumvent Mt. Amadablam to get its northern view by reaching Chukung via Dingboche at the cost of a days delay.

I have recently completed the Everest base camp trek and can say that the best advice I can give is get a guide.

The best guide I found was a gentleman called Sanjib Adhikari he is Independent trekking guide in Nepal.
The main thing is he is a family man and very trust worthy I still keep in touch with him now

If you are doing this trek get a guide he will definitely get you through check points with no worries, give you all the history on the route, take pictures of you, tell you about all the other landmarks and mountains on the way, he’ll keep an eye on you for altitude sickness and have emergency contact for helicopter etc, and most of all know the best route for you.

Sanjib really is a great guy and I totally trusted him with myself and my belongings the whole trip.
Adhikari
